Gua respects intellectual property and expects the same from the people who use it.
Open source
The Gua apps and the Gua version of the Matrix Authentication Service are open source under AGPL-3.0. The code of the identity service and the resolver is public on GitHub, and they do not have a license yet. The sign-in pages, the deployment tooling and some supporting services are not published yet. You can read the published code and study how it works at github.com/Gua-ra. Gua builds on the open Matrix protocol and its wider open-source ecosystem, under their respective licenses.
Trademarks and brand
The Gua name, logo and the lobo-guará mark are part of the project's identity. Please do not use them in a way that implies endorsement or that could confuse people about what is official.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content shared through Gua, or the project itself, infringes your copyright, contact us through Support with:
- a description of the work you say is infringed;
- where the material is located;
- your contact details;
- a statement that you believe the use is not authorized, made in good faith.
Because private messages are end-to-end encrypted, Gua cannot see their content and acts on what can be verified. Accounts used for repeated infringement may lose access.
