These terms cover your use of Gua while it is an early, invite-only beta. By using Gua you agree to them.
The short version
- Gua is a prototype in active development and is provided as is.
- Use Gua lawfully and respect other people.
- No spam, abuse, harassment or illegal content.
- You are responsible for your account and your devices.
- Features and availability may change while Gua is in beta.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Gua you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Beta service
Gua is an experimental prototype offered for testing. It may be unavailable, change, or lose data as the project develops. It is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law.
3. Who can use Gua
You must be old enough to consent to use a messaging service where you live, and at least 13. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Gua to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- send spam, or harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- share content that is illegal, or that sexualizes or endangers minors;
- distribute malware or attempt to disrupt, overload or probe the service;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you send. Private messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted, so Gua cannot read their content. You are responsible for the content you share and for having the right to share it.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove access that breaks these terms or that puts the network or other people at risk. You can stop using Gua and delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.
7. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gua is provided without warranties, and the project is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of a prototype service.
8. Changes
These terms may change as Gua develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
